Dress: J W Anderson x Topshop (sale)//Necklace: c/o Warehouse// Sandals, Sunglasses: Topshop

So on Bank Holiday Monday D and I took the train down to Whitstable along with half of London and a fair few Kent locals. I'd never been to Whistable before (and after seeing Charlotte's gorgeous photos of it), I decided that's where we'd go- I'm already familiar with Margate, Ramsgate and Broadstairs.. Anyway we had a lovely day eating fish & chips sitting on the beach, tasting strawberry Kentish beer, walking all the way along the sea and marvelling at the pastel beach huts (there were a couple for sale, if only..) and finishing up with a perfect mint choc chip (always) ice-cream at Sundae Sundae. I'm already looking forward to the next Bank Holiday.

Cardigan: Topshop// Top: H&M//Jeans: Toshop Joni Jeans//Espadrilles: From Seville//Sunglasses: Topshop

This outfit is from some weeks ago, I'm not sure where I was going or what I was doing- maybe going to the farmer's market. High waisted jeans are perfect for all those slightly-too-short tops that look a bit odd with normal jeans (however I've realised my Joni jeans have white threads in the seams which is really annoying. I don't think I can exchange them after so many wears and washes). Anyway it was nice to take my Lion King to out for a spin (don't tell me it doesn't make you think of that film. Ok, maybe it's just me)

I'm still not feeling too inspired blog-wise these days. I've not been commenting much, or replying to emails which is a bit naughty. Hopefully I will get on top of things again soon.

Lace cropped top: Lashes of London*//Skirt: H&M//Tights: Missguided//Sandals, sunglasses: Topshop//Bambi necklace: Gogo Philip

This gorgeous Lashes of London cropped top arrived one day after ordering it- I was quite bemused when the doorbell went this morning (it's always amazing when a signed for delivery arrives on a Saturday- otherwise I'm faced with a horrendous queue at the sorting office the following week). Anyway, I was very impressed.

Today has been quite a leisurely Saturday- I'm not sure my mum understands how we can manage to barely have had a shower or breakfast by midday, but we like to take things very slowly indeed at the weekend. Today involved scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, a lovely walk over Primrose Hill and a slightly intense tea and cake experience (small spaces and too many children is never a good idea). And best of all, there are still two days of weekend to go. <3

Cut Out Hearts

Furry jacket: H&M//Shirt: Topshop//Jeans: Zara//Socks: gift//Sandals: Topshop//Bag: Topshop//Necklace, Hat: H&M

These sandals seem to be a bit of a hit among bloggers, and with reason. Super comfy, cute heart cut outs, not too pricey (£35), perfect for this in between weather we're having. This jacket is also a bit like wearing a fleece blanket, which I'm not averse to.

Anyway it's only Wednesday but I am so looking forward to the bank holiday weekend. I want to try and drag D to Whitstable (again, seems to be the blogger destination of choice at the moment) if the weather stays nice (fingers crossed). We're always a bit stuck on things to do outside London as neither of us can drive- we often end up taking a train, a bus, another bus (that comes twice a week) then walking along country roads until we reach our destination. Once we were waiting for that twice weekly bus and some locals took pity on us and drove us into town, nice Herefordshire people they were.

Cartoon print dress

Dress: She Likes* //Boots: Office//Sunglasses: Primark

I received this dress from She Likes today and couldn't not wear it straight away. The print is ridiculous which is why I chose it, even though bodycon isn't my usual style (side note: in some of these photos I've remembered to suck in my stomach, in others not).

Anyway I've not been around here much for the past week- I started my new job on Tuesday and it's been quite a stressful anxious experience that I'm not sure I want to go into on here. Hopefully things will improve over time..
